El Volcan de Totumo, Colombia

1st day in Cartagena was about hanging out in the hostel, meeting the staff, checking out the old city and of course, try all pressed juices and all 1st time seen fruits. I ended up in the toilet.

The following day was to the volcano of Totumo. Aaaaamazing muddy volcano day. Recieving massages for 1€, all covered by this ashy-mud with cool propierties we enjoyed so much and meet really nice people on the way. The guy from Bangladesh also joined us and we started forming a new travel team. We met a really nice couple from England too who were travelling around the world and probably meeting up in India for Xmas (who knows..the choice is now beetween India&Colombia, we'll see).
Coming back to the volcano, the sensation there was like having fallen down into concrete. So heavy liquid, no chance of saying “I’m leaving” and doing it quickly. Actually, you needed some help to do it, and getting impulse from the others, otherwise…Also no chance of sinking because of that. We never touched the end though. 15m of height and 3m of diameter. Then in the lake, the local women with bowls putting out your left overs and they did a nice washing with the swimming suit too, while you were waiting nude inside the dark lake water.
Afterwards, we went to a beach where I walked back and forth and we had lunch there.

Chilling in the evening with the regular terrace party. Knowing better the staff and enjoying my time there. That we ended up going out for a walk and to a salsa place.
pics: Nice people. Getting muddy with the Bangladesh, English&Spanish buddies. The sweetest thing of the hostel.
