Jelgava & Jurmala
All right to be honest I'm writing this day more than 4 months later, so whatever I can remember checking up the pics is the nice small city of Jelgava, with its natural walks near the river, the orthodox church really nice and... so on. It had a university at the entrance where all around where green places to walk, too. Afterwards, I went back to Riga to get another bus to go to Jurmala, the most Latvian's turistic place in their country. By passing along the road with the bus many rich houses could be seen, some of them with a cool architecture. I stopped where the bus driver said something in latvian and nobody was in the bus and then I saw a signal on which was designed the next tourist office was 13kms away, so I decided to walk on the road. However, I went first to try a latvian beach, really windy and coool water xd
It was all a straight road, covered by very huge trees. A nice walk definetely. As it was becoming late, I decided to get a bus -dunnou how far from the tourist office, but not too much- to Riga.Everybody showed a ticket to the bus driver but me. So I returned to Riga happily for free.
photos: A famous square in Jelgava. The river. The university. A nice orthodox church. The huge trees in Jurmala. Another nice orthodox church. Where I got the bus to come back.
